Livingstone International School is seeking an experienced international school leader to take on a hybrid role that combines the responsibilities of Head of School and Managing Director. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a dynamic, proudly Zambian, globally minded school located in the beautiful tourist city of Livingstone, close to the Victoria Falls.
We are looking for a leader with strong international school experience, excellent knowledge of Cambridge curriculum pathways and the ability to guide both academic and operational areas of the school. The ideal candidate will bring confidence, cultural sensitivity and a passion for high quality education.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Lead teaching, learning and assessment across the school
- Ensure alignment with the Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary frameworks
- Oversee curriculum development and school improvement
- Lead safeguarding, pastoral care and behaviour systems
- Manage daily school operations, administration and scheduling
- Support HR, admissions and campus maintenance
- Work with the Board on strategy, planning and growth
- Strengthen marketing, community relations and partnerships
- Support financial oversight and resource management
