Position: Beef Manager & Crops Manager
Location: Ntapanza Farms, approximately 60 kilometers from Mbala, Zambia

Company Overview:
Ntapanza Farms is a well-established farming operation dedicated to sustainable, high-quality livestock production. We are currently seeking two individuals to join our team — a Beef Production Manager and Crops production Manager— to take charge of daily operations, animal care, and staff coordination.

• There are two positions available: Beef Manager and Crops Manager
• We are looking for mature, responsible individuals to undertake these roles.
• This opportunity is best suited to individuals who have lived in a village or worked on a farm, especially with experience in beef or crop Production
• The farm is located in a remote rural area with limited network connectivity and is far from the nearest town.
• Candidates must be comfortable living and working in a rural environment with minimal amenities.
• Only serious applicants who can adapt to and thrive under rural hardship conditions should apply.
• Applicants must be 40 years or older and willing to commit to long-term rural living and work.
Key Responsibilities:
Beef Manager:
• Oversee all aspects of beef cattle management and day-to-day farm operations.
• Ensure high standards of cattle health, nutrition, and welfare.
• Supervise, train, and support farm staff.
• Monitor pasture quality and grazing patterns to enhance herd productivity.
• Maintain accurate records on cattle health, breeding, and production.
• Collaborate with ownership to improve farm efficiency and sustainability.
Crops Manager:
• Oversee daily crop production operations from land preparation to harvesting.
• Supervise planting, irrigation, fertilization, and pest and weed control activities.
• Monitor crop growth, soil conditions, and input usage to ensure healthy yields.
• Coordinate task assignments and daily work plans for crops staff.
• Ensure proper use and storage of farm inputs and equipment.
• Keep accurate records of planting dates, inputs used, and crop performance.
• Report challenges, losses, or delays to management and recommend corrective actions.
• Support implementation of sustainable and climate-smart farming practices.
Requirements (For Both Positions):
Bachelors degree in Any Agriculture related field.
• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in beef or dairy cattle care and general farm operations.
• Strong understanding of cattle nutrition, health, pasture management and crop Production
• Proven leadership and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience living or working in remote, rural environments.
• Knowledge of sustainable and regenerative farming practices is an advantage.
