The Company currently operates from sixteen locations, namely Head Office in Lusaka, Main Branch in Central Lusaka, Levy Mall, Lewanika, Kitwe, Solwezi, Chingola, Ndola, Kalumbila, Kabwe, Chipata, Mansa, Choma, Mongu, Kasama and Livingstone.

To support the LOLC Finance Zambia vision, we are recruiting qualified and experienced individuals for the following position:
SALES CONSULTANTS (3) – LOCATION: LUSAKA, CHOMA & SOLWEZI
Overall Objective:
As a member of the Sales Team, the job holder is responsible for generating sales, evaluating loan applications according to the credit policies and being the liaison between the applicants and the organization.
The job holder as Sales Consultant is accountable for the achievement of their respective individuals sales target and quality of loans processed in line with the organization’s vision, mission, and corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
I. Evaluate applicants credit worthiness by examining the application documentation in accordance with the company lending policy.
II. Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and establish feasibility of issuing loans.
III. Submit loan applications to credit and respond to queries in timely manner.
IV. Communicate with applicants regarding credit decisions and provide full details.
V. Ensure completion of loan contracts and comprehensively explain the content to the applicants.
VI. Respond and attend to all customer enquiries/queries and resolve any product related issues.
VII. Ensures that Copies of the Loan Contract and supporting documents are properly filed immediately after processing.
VIII. Ensure feedback is given to Direct sales agents in the quickest possible time.
IX. Submit reports as and when required by supervisors.
X. Develop referral networks, maintain a strong chain of sales agents, and create cordial relationships with suppliers.
XI. Cross-sell all products and services and ensure individual monthly set targets are met.
Attend to other back-office and customer service duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certified grade 12 certificate with a minimum of Credits in English and Mathematics
- Any business related Diploma or Degree, preferably in Banking and Finance, Economics or Business Administration
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Sales
- Background in a Microfinance Institution will be an added advantage
- Preferably based in respective location of application with own accommodation
