RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining and repairing the various plumbing installations properly.
- Understanding the layout of installations in an area is suitable for performing fixes briskly and more effectively.
- Install pipes and tubes in an area.
- Being attentive towards wiring is an important thing for any space.
- Repairing the broken parts and replacing broken parts.
- Repairing a few appliances.
- Carrying out preventive maintenance tasks on all mechanical and plumbing equipment.
- Plumber visually checks outfit and operate test outfit similar to pressure and vacuum needles to determine the cause and position of trouble.
- They have the responsibility to repair pipes and plumbing fixtures.
- Plumbers must estimate the costs of installations and repairs.
- They have to clear obstructions from sink drains and toilets.
- Plumbers should have an idea of how to troubleshoot problems and decide how to fix them.
- They must ensure the proper functioning of all the plumbing systems in an area.
- They have to follow building plans and blueprints.
- They must be able to respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
- They have to prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates.
- They must perform light construction, carpentry, oil, trouncing, flooring, ceiling and electrical work as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of plumbing experience in both residential and commercial settings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid plumbing certificate
- Excellent communication & writing skills .
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
