1. Background
Zuba Marketing seeks to engage a skilled Video Editor to support the production of high-quality video content for communications, marketing, documentation, and storytelling purposes. The videos will be used across digital platforms including social media, TV, websites, billboards etc.
2. Objective of the Assignment
The objective of this assignment is to edit, package, and deliver engaging, professional video content for Zuba Marketing and its clients.
3. Scope of Work
The Video Editor will be responsible for, but not limited to the following tasks:
- Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality videos.
- Produce motion and still graphic animations for digital and multimedia content.
- May support the Graphic Designer in the development and execution of still graphic designs.
- Ensure videos meet agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the communications/project teams to interpret briefs and feedback.
4. Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in video editing and post-production.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Blender, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Experience producing content for TV and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience working with corporate or development projects is an added advantage.
5. Reporting and Coordination
The Video Editor will report to the Creative Director and will work closely with project teams. Regular check-ins and progress updates will be required.
6. Reporting and Oversight
The Video Editor shall report directly to the Creative Director or a designated supervisor.
2. SALES & MARKETING INTERN
Employment Type: Full Time
Start Date: 2nd March, 2026
Contract Duration: Three (3) months, with a possibility of extension subject to performance and business needs.
Duty Station: Lusaka (Office & Field).
1. Background
Zuba Marketing is seeking a results-driven Sales & Marketing Intern to promote its advertising services and onboard users, merchants, and advertisers onto its e-commerce mobile application. The role is focused on market penetration, revenue growth, and brand visibility.
2. Scope of Work
The Sales & Marketing Agent will be responsible for the following:
- Identify and prospect potential advertisers and business partners.
- Pitch and sell advertising packages and promotional services.
- Onboard Users and Sellers onto the e-commerce mobile app.
- Publish content developed by the Creative Department across the company’s digital platforms (including social media) and engage with audiences by responding to comments and inquiries.
- Support the preparation of RFQs, quotations, and tender documentation.
- Close sales and meet agreed revenue and onboarding targets.
- Execute field, digital, and direct marketing activities.
- Gather market customer feedback and competitor insights.
3. Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or currently pursuing studies in a relevant discipline.
- Relevant practical experience in sales, marketing, or business development may be considered in lieu of formal academic qualifications.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with mobile apps, e-commerce platforms, or digital marketing.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Experience selling advertising, digital services, or tech-based solutions and basic understanding of digital analytics and reporting is an advantage.
4. Reporting and Coordination
The Sales & Marketing Agent will report to the Account Manager or a designated supervisor and work closely with the marketing, tech, and operations teams. Regular reporting and review meetings will be required.

3. SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Employment Type: Full Time

Contract Duration: Six (6) months, with a possibility of extension subject to performance and business needs.
Duty Station: Lusaka, Zambia – Office-based. For candidates outside Zambia, a remote working arrangement may be negotiated.

In this regard, the company has launched a website focused on promoting products and services across diverse sectors, targeting businesses of all sizes. Zuba Marketing now seeks to engage a Software Developer to finalize its e-commerce platform and provide ICT support for the company and its clients.
2. Scope of Work
The Software Developer will be responsible for the following key tasks:
2.1 Software Development
- Design, develop, and maintain Laravel-based backend systems and RESTful APIs.
- Develop responsive, high-performance Flutter mobile applications for Android and iOS.
- Integrate APIs between mobile and web platforms to ensure seamless data flow and synchronization.
- Design, optimize, and maintain MySQL databases, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and data integrity.
- Collaborate on code using GitHub, following best practices in version control, code review, and documentation.
- Debug, test, and document software solutions to ensure high quality and reliability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, QA, and Product Management) to deliver features within agreed timelines.
- Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements or upgrades to improve stability and scalability.
2.2 ICT Support
- Provide ICT support including systems maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Manage user accounts, access controls, and implement appropriate security measures.
- Ensure all ICT assets of the company are properly maintained, secured, and in good working condition.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the company’s technology stack.
3. Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Candidates with a relevant diploma, strong hands-on experience, or self-taught developers with a proven track record are also encouraged to apply.
- At least Two (2) years of experience in executing similar software development projects and providing ICT support.
- Demonstrated experience in developing web and mobile applications using Laravel, Flutter, and MySQL or similar technologies.
- Proven ability to deliver comparable assignments, supported by a portfolio of previous work.
4. Reporting and Oversight
The Software Developer shall report directly to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) or a designated supervisor.
