Job Title: Project Coordinator Engineer
This position is part of Beca Corporate Ventures Limited falling under civil engineering department, and will join the team within the department. He/she will be required to carry out all civil engineering related works in order to support the operations of the company. He/she will be required to head construction teams whilst upholding high safety and environmental standards, statutory and domestic regulation compliance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction works at multiple site for both inhouse and outsourced projects ensuring the right quality and adherence to standards and project specifications.
- Plan and coordinate work packages for streamlined implementation of all construction works and effectively communicating to the line manager.
- Carry out quantity and cost estimates for the various projects undertaken by the company.
- Ensure strict adherence to high safety standards and enforce safety protocols at all times on site
- Coordinate with procurement for materials and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and smooth work flow.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly project progress and status report.
- Maintain an open communication
Qualifications
- Grade 12 certificate
- Bachelors of Civil Engineering Degree
- Member of EIZ
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of traceable work experience
- Costing and quantity estimates for civil and building projects
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Microsoft (Project, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
