Tyre-King, a leading automobile tyre retailer, is looking for dedicated, meticulous, and customer-oriented Cashiers to manage our financial transactions and support our operations.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To undertake cashiering, accounting, and business support duties within prescribed policies and procedures to ensure accurate collection and receipting of company revenues. The role involves ensuring all sales systems and procedures are strictly adhered to, contributing to the overall financial integrity of Tyre-King Enterprises Limited.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receiving and Issuing of Receipts
• Receive payments directly from customers and issue receipts immediately upon payment.
• Register all sales using the system as per procedure.
• Ensure clear and correct details are recorded on all copies of receipts.
• Verify the correctness of invoice dates, amounts, and other details on all copies.
• Ensure receipts are issued based on actual cash/cheque received, not invoice value.
• Handle multiple currencies and ensure separate receipts are issued accordingly.
• Validate cheques for correct details, ensuring figures and words match.
Credit Control and Management
• Familiarize with and enforce the company’s credit control policy.
• Ensure that all money is banked or handed over to the Accounts Assistant as per procedure.
Banking
• Perform assigned banking duties efficiently and accurately.
Financial Accounting and Reporting
• Post all receipts to the relevant accounts and reconcile cash sales daily.
• Ensure all manual invoices are posted within 36 hours into the Navision system.
• Submit completed daily tally sheets to the Head Office by 08:30 the following day.
• Ensure all petty cash vouchers are posted into NAV before payment requisitions are generated.
Inventory/Fixed Assets Management
• Protect and regularly check fixed assets, reporting any unrecorded assets to the finance team.
• Participate in stock takes, spot check audits, and inventory reconciliations.
Statutory Compliance
• Ensure all statutory certificates are displayed at the branch.
Internal Controls/Control Environment
• Identify and report on weaknesses in internal controls, suggesting improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure all revenue protection measures are adhered to, regularly auditing workshop processes to prevent losses.
ICT Function Support
• Collaborate with the branch head and IT department to ensure the NAVISION system and general computer environment operate optimally.
Other Responsibilities
• Undertake any additional duties/tasks assigned to ensure the achievement of Tyre King Limited’s objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum Certificate in Accounting or Business Administration from a recognized institution
• Membership with Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (NAVISION accounting software will be an added advantage)
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a cashiering or similar position
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• No criminal record, friendly and positive attitude, and a commitment to excellent customer service
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in cash management, and ability to handle change effectively

STOREPERSON
Tyre-King, a leading automobile tyre retailer, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Storeperson to manage and optimize our stock across our network of 14 outlets.
Location: Kitwe

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To efficiently handle the receiving, storage, and dispatching of goods and products. This role includes managing inter-branch transfers, ensuring the security of tyres and accessories, and maintaining accurate stock records to meet customer needs according to established procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Security, Housekeeping, and Accountability
• Take full responsibility and ownership of the warehouse.
• Achieve zero variance reports and maintain updated files of all signed reports.
• Arrange the layout of stock/items for easy retrieval and counting.
• Ensure warehouse security requirements are met.
• Load and offload tyres, batteries, tubes, and valves, maintaining updated records.
Perpetual Self-Audits: Maintain Accurate Records
• Conduct weekly self-audits to ensure accurate record-keeping. File reports both in hard and soft copies.
• Perform reconciliations to ensure physical stock matches computer records, and file the reports from reconciliations.
• Maintain correct stock sizes and levels according to the branch stock planner, ensuring top-selling sizes are available on demand.
• Optimize distribution costs by effective planning and stock management.
• Support sister branches by processing transfers quickly to reduce customer wait times.
• Adhere to procedures for receiving and issuing stock items.
• Check all documentation related to stock receipts and issuance, paying attention to detail.
• Count and check goods received from suppliers to ensure they match documentation.
• Report any irregularities in physical stock or documentation to the Branch Manager and Stores Controller/Manager.
• Maintain and update stock records immediately upon movement of stock, both manually and on an ERP (e.g. MS Dynamics Business Central 365)
Stock Taking
• Ensure reports are signed and filed promptly.
• Participate in quarterly and annual stock counts.
• Investigate and correct/reconcile any variances timely.
• Carry out weekly and monthly self-audits and document the results.
Internal Control Champion
• Monitor and report on weaknesses in store processes and procedures, making recommendations for improvements.
• Consider possible enhancements to customer service requirements.
Other Responsibilities
• Undertake any other duties/tasks as assigned or reasonably required to achieve the job's objectives within the overall objective of Tyre-King Limited.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Diploma in Purchasing and Supply (CIPS/ZIPS), Craft Certificate in Automotive Mechanics will be an added advantage.
• Minimum three (3) years' work experience in stores management or a similar role.
• Membership with the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS).

TYRE FITTER/ALIGNER
Tyre-King, a leading automobile tyre retailer, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Tyre Fitter/Aligner to support our workshop operations and ensure high standards of workmanship and customer safety.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To provide professional tyre fitting, balancing, alignment, and battery fitting services that ensure vehicle safety and enhance the customer’s driving experience through high-quality workmanship and adherence to company procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Workshop Safety & Compliance
• Observe all safety rules relating to workshop machinery and conduct.
• Report any faults on machines or missing tools immediately to the Workshop Supervisor or Branch Manager.
Tyre Fitting & Alignment
• Perform tyre fitting, balancing, and wheel alignment in accordance with company procedures and equipment guidelines.
• Verify that tyres and services listed on the invoice correspond with the vehicle before commencing work.
• Consistently follow correct tyre fitting procedures and maintain accurate job card records.
Battery Fitting
• Verify the correct battery type and size for the vehicle.
• Prepare and install batteries properly, ensuring secure fitting without damaging vehicle systems.
Quality Service Delivery
• Provide high-quality, personalized customer service.
• Monitor and review the quality of service delivered, ensuring work is completed efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain a tally of tyres fitted and services completed.
Customer Advisory
• Inspect old tyres for wear, pressure, and remaining tread depth.
• Provide customers with professional advice on tyre condition and replacement needs.
Additional Workshop Support
• Carry out exhaust system fabrication where applicable and when trained to do so.
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, and accountability in all workshop duties.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Minimum Craft Certificate in a Mechanical discipline or Automotive mechanics
• Member of the EIZ or relevant institute
• Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience in a similar role
• Three (3) or more months of practical training will be added advantage
• Good interpersonal and verbal and written
