Job Summary

A private secondary school in Makeni, Lusaka invites applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals for the position of Secondary School Teacher with a combination of Civic Education and Mathematics. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality instruction and supporting the academic and personal development of learners.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Civic Education and Mathematics in accordance with the national curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching materials.
Assess and monitor learners’ academic progress.
Maintain accurate student records and prepare reports.
Participate in school meetings, professional development, and co-curricular activities.
Promote discipline and positive learner engagement in the classroom.

Minimum Qualifications

Diploma in Secondary Education with a combination of Civic Education and Mathematics.
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field will be an added advantage.
Valid Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) Practicing License is required.
