It is involved in the primary production, processing, distribution and retailing of beef, chicken, pork, eggs, dairy, fish, flour, stock feed and day-old chicks throughout Zambia and the surrounding region.

LABORATORY TECHNICIAN – (NOVATEK MPONGWE) (1)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Analyzing raw material samples using the NIR machine.
- Analyzing finished feed products using the NIR machine.
- Printing analytical results and sending them to relevant persons.
- Reporting any non-conforming raw material and feed product to the Supervisor.
- Performing sieve tests on finished feed products.
- Performing pellet durability test on pellet feed products.
- Recording the lab analysis and grading results of all raw materials sampled in the Zambeef utility
- Indicating whether a truck has been approved for offloading in the utility.
- Standing in for the Lab and Quality Controller and performing any other duties assigned by Supervisor when need arises.
The Required Qualifications are:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma Laboratory Science, Food Science, Biochemistry or Related field
- 2 years previous experience
