Role Summary:
We are looking for a driven and analytical Business Finance Trainee to support business growth, client acquisition, and financial operations, with a strong focus on engaging SMEs to drive business and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business by actively identifying, engaging, and onboarding SME clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and portfolio growth
- Support loan origination processes including client assessment, documentation, and credit analysis
- Conduct market outreach activities (presentations and networking) to expand market presence
- Analyze client performance, market trends, and product uptake to provide actionable insights
- Monitor loan portfolios, ensuring timely repayments and proactive follow-ups
- Ensure all transactions and processes comply with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Support risk management through proper client evaluation, documentation, and adherence to controls
- Contribute to sales performance targets and overall business profitability
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Strong business development and client engagement ability
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
