Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and highly motivated Environmental and Safety Officer to oversee, implement, and monitor environmental and occupational health & safety policies.
The ideal candidate must be fluent in both English and Chinese to support effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement environmental and safety policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with local regulations (including ZEMA standards) and international safety standards.
Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
Prepare environmental impact reports and safety documentation.
Train employees on health, safety, and environmental practices.
Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Proven experience in environmental management and occupational health & safety.
Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory.
Relevant qualification in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
Knowledge of ZEMA regulations and mining/construction safety standards.
Strong communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team

Experience in mining or construction projects
Certification in safety management
