Job Purpose
To manage and control all inventory at the site, ensuring accurate stock records, proper storage, timely issuance of materials, and compliance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain accurate records of all stock received, issued, and stored at site
2. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or excess stock
3. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against delivery notes and purchase orders
4. Ensure proper storage and labeling of materials
5. Issue materials to site staff only with approved requisitions
6. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports
7. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records
8. Investigate and report any stock variances, damages, or losses
9. Ensure compliance with company inventory control procedures
10. Coordinate with procurement, and accounts departments
11. Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections
12. Ensure site stores are clean, safe, and well organized
Qualifications
· Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or related field
· Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in inventory / stores management
· Experience working on construction project sites is an advantage
· Knowledge of inventory systems and Microsoft Excel
