Project Background
Good Neighbors Zambia (GNZ) is a registered international non-governmental organization committed to promoting community development, food security, and resilience in Zambia. With the support of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), GNZ is implementing the Sustainable Agriculture-Based Climate Smart Agriculture Project in Chongwe District. The project aims to enhance community resilience to climate change and strengthen household food security through the demonstration farms, the promotion of climate-smart agriculture practices, and the capacity building of smallholder farmers.
- Solar Water Reticulation Systems at Four (4) Demonstration Farms in the Kapete and Mulalika Camps of Chongwe District
Scope of Works (per site)
The works shall include:
- Hydrogeological survey and borehole siting
- Drilling, casing, and development of boreholes
- Supply and installation of submersible solar pumps
- Fabrication and installation of tank stands and support structures
- Supply and installation of water storage tanks
- Installation of solar power systems (panels, control units, wiring, and mounting structures)
- Supply and installation of distribution and reticulation pipelines with all necessary fittings, valves, and accessories
Eligibility Criteria
Bidders must provide valid and up-to-date documentation, including:
- Proof of physical business address
- Evidence of relevant past performance (completed or ongoing works)
- Company profile
- WARMA drillers license (Class B or better)
- Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) certificate
- ZRA Tax Clearance Certificate
- NAPSA Certificate of Compliance
- PACRA registration documentation
- National Council for Construction (NCC) certification
Bid Submission
Bidders must submit the following documents in hard copy:
- One (1) Original and Two (2) Copies, each sealed in envelopes.
All sealed envelopes must be hand-delivered to:

The envelope must be clearly labeled:
“BID SUBMISSION – GNZ/K/2026-003 – [Title] – [Company Name]”
Each submission must include:
- Completed Form of Tender (in the prescribed format provided in the Bidding Document)
- Signed Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
- Technical Proposal including Method Statement, Work Plan, Personnel, and Equipment
- Any other requirements specified in the bidding documents

Submission Deadline: 29 April 2026 at 12:00 as Local Time. Late submissions will not be considered.
The Bid Opening will be held on 29 April 2026 at 14:00 (local time) at the conference room of Good Neighbors Zambia. The session will be attended by the Tender Opening Committee (internal and external members) and representatives of the bidding firms who wish to attend.
