The logistics & office operations officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day logistics and administrative activities, ensuring smooth coordination of operations, supporting clients, and contributing ideas to promote and grow the business.
Qualifications
- Grade Twelve (12) Certificate (mandatory)
- Advanced Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (minimum requirement)
- Any higher qualification (Diploma/Degree) is an added advantage
- At least one year of experience in logistics, office operations, or a related field
- Basic understanding of clearing and forwarding procedures is an added advantage
- Familiarity with RTSA processes is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
- Proficiency in advert designs (especially canvas and Photoshop)
- Ability to develop and suggest marketing ideas to promote company services
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
Key Responsibilities
1. Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate clearing and forwarding activities with agents, clients, and relevant authorities
- Track shipments and ensure the timely delivery of goods
- Prepare and process logistics documentation (invoices, delivery notes, permits, customs documents)
- Follow up on consignments and resolve delays or issues.
2. Office Operations Management
- Manage daily office administrative tasks
- Maintain proper filing systems (both physical and digital)
- Ensure smooth office operations and availability of supplies
3. Warehouse & Inventory Support
- Assist in warehouse operations and stock management
- Monitor inventory movement and maintain accurate records
- Ensure proper storage and handling of goods
4. Motor Vehicle Services Support
- Facilitate the buying and selling of motor vehicles on behalf of clients
- Assist with motor vehicle registration processes
- Liaise with RTSA and other regulatory bodies
5. Client Service & Communication
- Act as a point of contact for clients
- Provide updates on ongoing services
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate operational records
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory procedures
7. Marketing & Business Development Support
- Suggest and implement marketing ideas to promote the company's services
- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients
- Support social media and outreach activities
- Assist in growing the company’s client base
