Role: Community Verification Officer
Contract: 6 months (consultancy-based)
What you’ll do:
· Collect and verify data on human-wildlife conflict incidents (crop damage,
livestock predation, property damage, injuries, human death)
· Work with communities and partners to confirm reported cases
· Capture and upload data, photos, and documentation using a mobile app
· Support awareness activities and community engagement
· Contribute to reports and insights from the field
What we’re looking for:
· Strong data collection and reporting skills
· Comfortable using smartphones/apps for data capture
· Good communication and community engagement skills
· Ability to work independently in the field
· Detail-oriented with ability to accurately read, write, and capture field data
· Ability to build and maintain relationships with community members,
partners, and local leadership
· Knowledge of local communities/languages is an advantage
· Must own a valid motorbike driver’s License
