Tim Motors Zambia Limited, established in 2018, is an authorized distributor of SINOTRUK in Zambia. We specialize in the sale and rental of heavy- and light-duty vehicles, including tippers, tractors, concrete mixers, cargo trucks, and utility vehicles. Our operations also extend to construction machinery, heavy equipment, spare parts, supported by reliable after-sales services
Join our growing team! We are looking for motivated and skilled individuals to fill the following positions:
1. Panel Beaters (2 Positions)
Panel beaters will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle bodies to their original shape and finish. The role involves assessing damage, removing dents, replacing or repairing panels, and preparing surfaces using specialized tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspecting damaged vehicles to assess the extent of repairs needed
- Repair and restore damaged vehicle bodies
- Preparing surfaces and spray painting to match original finishes
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and timely completion
- Ensuring all repairs meet safety and quality standards
- Using specialized tools and equipment for bodywork repairs
- Maintain clear communication with clients, including progress updates
Requirements:
- Craft Certificate in Panel Beating or specialized Auto-Body Repair (Panel Beating and Spray Painting) or equivalent
- 2-3 years’ experience as a panel beater
- Strong knowledge of panel repair techniques and spray painting
- Panel beating experience working on trucks is added advantage
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
2. Finance Assistant (1 Position)
The finance assistant will support the finance department by handling routine financial tasks such as processing invoices, maintaining records, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting. They will help ensure accurate financial data, support compliance with company policies, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day management of financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial records, invoices, and reconciliation
- Handling expense claims, filing financial documents, and supporting audits
- Updating daily financial spreadsheets and accounting software with transactions
- Support budgeting and reporting processes
- Maintain accurate accounting documentation
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Relevant work experience in a similar field
- Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions).
- Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
3. Sales Assistants (2 Positions)
The sales assistants will support the sales team by engaging customers, promoting products or services, and helping to close sales. They will handle inquiries, maintain product knowledge, process transactions, and ensure a positive customer experience while contributing to overall sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell commercial vehicles, construction machinery, and heavy equipment
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations
- Follow up on leads and close sales effectively
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility
- Provide excellent after-sales support to clients
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing or a related field
- Proven experience in selling commercial vehicles, construction machinery, heavy equipment, or mining equipment
- Knowledge of trucks (especially Chinese products)
- Strong marketing skills (digital marketing skills will be an added advantage)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Government relationship
- Good understanding of the Zambian market

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset
- Chinese speaker (added advantage)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
4. Kitchen Assistant (1 Position)
The kitchen assistant will support the kitchen team with basic food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining hygiene standards. They assist chefs with simple tasks, ensure utensils and work areas are clean, and help keep the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen cleanliness
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards
- Support kitchen staff with daily operations
Requirements:
- Certificate in food production/catering or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good hygiene practices
- Previous experience in preparing Chinese dishes is an added advantage
