PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Maintain Generation on units as per approved export power schedule.
Ø Identification of deviation in operation parameters and take appropriate action for normalization.
Ø Logging of all parameters periodically and noting down activities taken place during shift.
Ø Coordinate with Field operators and guiding correct directions to them.
Ø Coordinating with Turbine Desk operation engineers to deliver required outputs from Boiler.
Ø Operation of limestone injection related equipment.
Ø Continuous monitoring & controlling of CEM values.
Ø Operation of chemical dosing pumps to maintain balanced chemical properties in water and steam coordination with chemist.
Ø Informing all abnormalities being faced to Shift Charge Engineer.
Ø Adhere to all laid down Safety, Health and Environmental standards, practices and
procedures.
Ø Check Healthiness of all standby equipment and work place and ensuring complete availability of the same
Ø Analyzation for root cause of the abnormalities / trips & suggesting corrective actions.
SECONDARY ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Ø Suggesting Heat rate improvement ideas.
Ø Working towards reduction of auxiliary consumption & DM water consumptions.
Ø Targeting to reduction of startup fuel consumption.
Ø Attend training and refresher classes.
Ø Providing the training classes.

EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY
BACKGROUND : 5-10 years in Boiler operation of Thermal Power Plants
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION : B.E/ B. tech in Mechanical Engineering
