The Regional Commercial Manager is responsible for driving commercial performance and overseeing the operational, administrative, and strategic management of all depots within their assigned region. The role ensures effective execution of sales strategies, efficient stock management, and seamless depot operations while maintaining full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
The position also plays a key role in implementing and monitoring government-supported programmes such as FISP and FSP, strengthening market presence, and enhancing revenue generation across the region.
The Regional Commercial Manager is accountable for safeguarding company stock and assets, leading and developing depot teams, ensuring operational efficiency, and protecting the Company’s commercial interests within the region
Key Qualifications and Competences
- Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate with Five (5) credits or better
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably as an Area Sales Manager
- Proven experience in commercial operations and sales management
- Strong business Acumen with a solid understanding of commercial operations
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong strategic execution, reporting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prepare and manage budgets effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with the Agribusiness sector
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- High level of integrity and professionalism
