About Mooto Foods
Mooto Holdings Limited is relaunching its meat processing and supply business under Mooto Foods. The business will supply quality meat products, butcheries, restaurants, lodges, hotels, supermarkets, schools, hospitals, institutions, food vendors, and bulk buyers.
Mooto Foods will be supplying a range of meat products, including chicken pieces, chicken fillet, fresh chicken sausage, chicken Hungarian sausage, other chicken portions, beef, and goat meat.
To support market expansion across Zambia, Mooto Holdings Limited seeks to recruit energetic, trustworthy, and results-driven Sales Representatives in selected provinces and districts.
Purpose of the Role
The Sales Representatives will serve as Mooto Foods’ field-based commercial link with customers in targeted districts where the company does not currently have a physical presence.
The representatives will be responsible for identifying potential customers, collecting orders, coordinating deliveries, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting smooth supply of Mooto Foods products within their assigned districts.
Key Responsibilities
The Sales Representatives will be responsible for:
- Identifying and recruiting customers in the assigned district, including butcheries, restaurants, lodges, hotels, food vendors, supermarkets, schools, hospitals, institutions, and bulk buyers.
- Marketing Mooto Foods products to prospective and existing customers.
- Collecting customer orders and submitting them to Mooto Foods within agreed timelines.
- Coordinating with Mooto Foods to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Following up with customers before and after deliveries to confirm order accuracy, satisfaction, and repeat business opportunities.
- Maintaining an updated customer database for the assigned district.
- Providing regular market intelligence on prices, customer demand, competitor activity, and product preferences.
- Supporting customer registration and onboarding processes.
- Promoting Mooto Foods’ product range, including chicken pieces, chicken fillet, fresh chicken sausage, chicken Hungarian sausage, other chicken portions, beef, and goat meat.
- Ensuring professional communication between customers and Mooto Foods management.
- Supporting smooth supply coordination in districts where Mooto Foods has no permanent office or branch.
- Meeting agreed sales targets and performance expectations.
- Submitting weekly sales reports, order updates, customer feedback, and market observations.
- Upholding honesty, confidentiality, and professionalism in all customer engagements.
Target Provinces
Applicants must be based in, or have strong market knowledge of, one of the following provinces:
- Lusaka Province
- Copperbelt Province
- Central Province
- Eastern Province
- North-Western Province
Applicants should clearly indicate the province, district, and towns/markets they are applying to cover.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum qualification of Grade 12 Certificate.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, customer relations, distribution, food supply, FMCG, meat products, agriculture, or trading will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of the local business environment in the assigned district.
- Ability to identify and approach potential customers confidently.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to use a smartphone for communication, order submission, reporting, and customer follow-up.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be honest, reliable, and results-oriented.
- Fluency in English and at least one local language spoken in the assigned district.
- Existing networks with butcheries, restaurants, lodges, food vendors, retailers, institutions, or bulk buyers will be an added advantage.

Contract and Remuneration
This is a 12-month commission-based contract.
Successful Sales Representatives will be paid commission based on confirmed sales generated within their assigned district. Detailed commission terms, sales targets, product pricing, order procedures, and payment timelines will be discussed with shortlisted candidates during orientation.
