Key Responsibilities
1. Product Distribution Oversee daily distribution of SIM cards, starter packs, scratch cards, and airtime vouchers to dealers and retail outlets. Optimize routes for urban and rural coverage, coordinate stock levels with the warehouse team, and ensure accurate documentation of all stock movements.
2. Channel & Dealer Management Manage dealer and retail agent relationships across the assigned territory. Monitor product availability and brand visibility through regular outlet visits, onboard new distribution points, ensure policy and pricing compliance, and resolve dealer issues promptly.
3. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise distribution officers, field sales reps, and drivers. Set and monitor daily/weekly targets against KPIs, provide coaching and training, and conduct performance reviews.
4. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence Ensure full compliance with ZICTA SIM registration regulations. Maintain accurate distribution records, conduct dealer audits, and report any fraudulent activity or compliance breaches to the operations distribution manager.
5. Inventory Management Track stock levels across all distribution points, conduct periodic counts, reconcile physical stock against system records, and coordinate timely replenishment with the supply chain team.
6. Reporting & Analysis Submit daily, weekly, and monthly distribution reports. Monitor KPIs including activations, dealer coverage, and stock availability. Provide market intelligence on competitor activity and escalate operational risks to management.
