CBM Christoffel Blindenmission Christian Blind Mission e.V (CBM) is a leading disability inclusive development organization committed to improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities and those at risk. CBM Zambia is seeking 2 qualified, committed, and values driven individuals to serve as Board Members.
Role and Responsibilities
Board Members provide governance and strategic oversight in line with the NGO Act of Zambia. They serve in a fiduciary capacity, support accountability and transparency, review organizational performance, and contribute to the strategic direction of CBM Zambia.
Eligibility and Experience
Ideal candidates will have experience in governance, leadership, policy, finance, development, or related fields, and demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusion, philanthropy, and CBM’s mission. Experience in the public, private, or not for profit sector is an added advantage.
Terms of Engagement
Board membership is voluntary and unpaid. Members are expected to attend up to two board meetings per year and represent CBM in relevant forums. Reasonable, approved expenses may be reimbursed.
