RECEPTIONIST
We are looking for a smart, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist to join the Chipo’s Lux Apartments team. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a welcoming personality, and the ability to manage guest interactions professionally while ensuring a smooth reservation and check-in experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Welcome and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Handle phone calls, emails, WhatsApp inquiries, and walk-in guests
• Manage bookings, reservations, and guest check-ins/check-outs
• Coordinate online bookings through platforms such as Booking.com and Airbnb
• Process guest payments and maintain accurate records
• Provide guests with information about services, facilities, and local guidance
• Handle customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
• Coordinate with housekeeping and management to ensure smooth operations
• Prepare daily reports and update guest records accurately
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum Grade 12 Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism is an added advantage
• At least 1 year experience in reception, customer service, hospitality, or hotel operations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
• Familiarity with online booking platforms is an added advantage
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Honest, reliable, and service-oriented
