1. Spare Parts Management
- Be responsible for the daily management of company heavy equipment machinery spare parts, including incoming inspection, warehousing, classification, labeling, inventory counting and outbound delivery management.
- Maintain accurate spare parts inventory data, update inventory records regularly, ensure accounts and goods are consistent, and prevent spare parts shortage, backlog and loss.
- Receive and sort spare parts purchase demands from the workshop and project site, assist in submitting purchase applications, and follow up the arrival progress of goods.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and technical team to distribute spare parts reasonably, support equipment maintenance and project construction work, and improve the efficiency of spare parts turnover.
- Regularly sort out spare parts consumption data, summarize inventory status, and provide data support for procurement and cost control.
2. Customs Clearance & Logistics Management
- Responsible for the customs declaration and clearance work of imported and exported goods of the company, including spare parts, mechanical equipment, office supplies and other materials.
- Prepare, sort out and submit all customs clearance documents accurately, including packing list, invoice, bill of lading, customs declaration form and other supporting documents, ensuring the completeness and validity of documents.
- Familiar with Zambia’s import and export policies, tariff standards and customs clearance procedures, handle customs inspection, tax payment and goods pickup work efficiently, and ensure smooth customs clearance of goods.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers and relevant government departments to solve problems encountered in the process of customs clearance and transportation.
- Sort out and file all customs clearance documents and logistics records, establish standardized archives, and complete regular data statistics and reports.
3. Daily Coordination & Other Work
- Cooperate with finance, procurement and project departments to complete the docking of spare parts cost, logistics expenses and customs related expenses.
- Complete other spare parts management and customs clearance related work assigned by the leader.
4. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics Management, International Trade, Supply Chain Management or related majors; candidates with rich relevant working experience are also acceptable.
- At least 2 years of working experience in spare parts management and customs clearance, familiar with Zambian customs clearance process and local logistics rules is preferred; experience in heavy equipment machinery or foreign-funded overseas enterprises is a plus.
- Proficient in Office software (Excel, Word, etc.), capable of sorting inventory data and making statistical reports skillfully.
- Familiar with import and export document production, customs declaration process and inventory management norms, with strong document sorting and data processing ability.
- Careful, rigorous, responsible and efficient in work, able to independently handle customs clearance and spare parts warehouse management work, and good at solving on-site emergencies.
- Good communication skills, team awareness and pressure resistance, able to adapt to overseas office environment.
