The interested candidate will be responsible for
· Operating and monitoring production machinery related to alcohol manufacturing.
· Setting up machines, adjusting controls, and performing necessary tests to ensure the efficient and accurate production of alcohol products.
· Conducting routine inspections of machinery, identify potential issues, and performing regular maintenance to prevent downtime.
· Troubleshooting and resolving minor technical problems, making adjustments or requesting assistance as needed.
· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
· Accurately documenting production activities, including machine performance, quality control checks, and maintenance tasks.
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualification and skills:
· Diploma in mechanical engineering and a Grade 12 school certificate.
· 4 years of experience as a Machine Operator, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
· Proven track record of operating and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production output.
· Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in operating and troubleshooting various types of manufacturing equipment.
· Basic understanding of alcohol manufacturing processes and equipment is a plus.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues.
· Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve any technical issues.
· Strong commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
· Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
