Icypeed Logistics is currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive payments from customers and issue official receipts.
- Accurately process cash, mobile money, bank trans fers, and POS transactions.
- Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain accurate daily cash records and prepare reports.
- Respond to customer inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Coordinate with the accounts and operations departments regarding customer payments.
- Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- A diploma in accounting/business administration or a similar field
- 0-1 year experience as a Cashier or in a related role
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
