Academic Coordinator – Postgraduate Studies
The University of Africa invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position
of Academic Coordinator – Postgraduate Studies.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Coordinate the administration and delivery of postgraduate programs.
Support postgraduate admissions, registration, examinations, and student progression.
Coordinate research proposals, dissertations, and viva voce examinations.
Ensure compliance with University policies and regulatory requirements.
Provide administrative support for curriculum development, quality assurance, and program accreditation.
Prepare reports and maintain accurate postgraduate academic records.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess:
A master’s degree from a recognised institution.
A PhD will be an added advantage.
At least three (3) years' experience in higher education, preferably in postgraduate program administration or
academic coordination.
Good knowledge of postgraduate academic processes and quality assurance.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
All academic and professional qualifications must be validated by the Zambia Qualifications Authority
(ZAQA).
