Oyera Mineral Water is looking for a reliable and hardworking Truck Delivery Driver who can also perform mechanical work and vehicle maintenance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver Oyera Mineral Water safely and on time.
- Load and offload products at customer locations.
- Check deliveries against invoices and obtain proof of delivery.
- Conduct daily inspections of the delivery truck.
- Perform mechanical repairs and routine vehicle maintenance.
- Identify and report all mechanical faults promptly.
- Keep the truck clean and in good working condition.
- Follow road-safety procedures and company policies.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service.
- Assist with other operational duties when required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Valid PSV; class B and class C driver’s licence suitable for driving delivery trucks.
- Valid NRC
- Proven truck-driving and delivery experience with traceable references.
- Practical mechanical knowledge and experience working on trucks or diesel vehicles.
- Good knowledge of Lusaka and the surrounding areas.
- Good understanding of road-safety regulations.
- Physically fit and able to load and offload the truck.
- Honest, punctual and responsible.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Clean driving record.
Preference will be given to applicants living within the Ngwerere area
