We are looking for experienced and skilled Trade Foremen to join our construction and projects team.

Department: Construction / Projects
Reports To: Project Manager / Site Manager
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Employment Type: Full-Time
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and coordinate artisans, skilled workers, and labourers within the assigned trade.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor work progress.
- Ensure work is completed according to required quality standards, drawings, specifications, and timelines.
- Monitor the proper use of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
- Identify and report defects, delays, material requirements, and technical issues.
- Ensure workers follow health and safety requirements and use appropriate PPE.
- Monitor workmanship and minimise material wastage and rework.
- Provide regular progress updates to the Site Manager or Project Manager.
- Maintain discipline, teamwork, and professionalism on site.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Grade 9 School Certificate.
- Proven practical experience in the relevant trade.
- Previous experience supervising artisans, workers, or construction teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
- Ability to read and understand basic drawings and measurements is an advantage.
- Trade Certificate or relevant technical qualification is an added advantage.
- Previous experience in residential, commercial, or large-scale construction projects is an added advantage.
