Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team at a lodge in Chipata. The ideal candidate will ensure that all guest rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained to provide a pleasant environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas daily.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock toiletries.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and furniture.
- Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management.
- Follow health and safety regulations and lodge cleaning standards.
- Assist in laundry duties when required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be a resident of Chipata.
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is an added advantage.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Honest, punctual, and well-organized.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be available to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
