Job Description:
A reputable lodge in Chipata is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing bookings, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and handle check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage room reservations and update booking records.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle guest inquiries.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
- Prepare and issue invoices or receipts for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and order at the reception area.
- Ensure guests have a pleasant and comfortable experience.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be a resident of Chipata (only Chipata residents will be accepted).
- Must have completed Grade 12 between 2023 and 2024.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Honest, punctual, and well-presented.
- Able to work on weekends and holidays if required.
