The main purpose of the Financial Administrative Assistant is to assists with various financial tasks under the supervision of the Financial Accountant. The role offers hands-on experience and provides opportunities to learn accounting software and develop skills for a career in finance or accounting. 
Key Responsibilities
1.     Data Entry & Record Keeping: Assisting with entering financial data into accounting systems and maintaining accurate financial records. 
2.     Invoicing & Payments: Assisting with processing invoices, issuing payments to suppliers, and managing accounts payable and receivables. 
3.     Banking Tasks: Coordinating banking activities, managing petty cash, and performing bank reconciliations. 
4.     Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and cash flow statements. 
5.     Reconciliations: Assisting with reconciling various accounts, including creditors, debtors, and bank accounts. 
6.     Payroll: Assisting with the preparation of monthly payroll and managing deductions, pay slips distribution. 
7.     Compliance: Helping with statutory compliance, such as preparing returns for taxes and other statutory obligations. 
8.     Administrative Support: Performing general administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by a Financial Accountant. 
9.     Required Skills and Qualifications
Skills and Education
1.     Technical Skills: Microsoft Excel, Word Outlook and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage ERP) will be an added advantage.
2.     Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Educational Background: Certificate or Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
