Plot Size: 20 m × 10 m (fenced area)
Purpose:
Construction of civil and structural works to support the installation of a 3 × 10,000 L tank water system, equipment housing (pump/plant room), and site security fencing.
1. SCOPE OF WORK
- Construction of a 5 m × 5 m × 4 m high equipment (pump) house including foundation, blockwork, roofing, electrical conduits, and finishes.
- Supply of tanks – 2 ×10 000L and 1 × 5000L
- Construction of tank plinths/stands (for 2 × 10,000 L tanks stands and 1 × 5000) with reinforced concrete foundations and proper drainage.
- Supply and installation of perimeter chain-link fencing (20 m × 10 m site) including concrete posts, plinth, and double gates.
- General site preparation, drainage, and finishing works.
2. SITE LAYOUT OVERVIEW
• Fenced rectangular area: 20 m width × 10 m depth (approx. 200 m²).
• Tank area: 2×2 arrangement of tanks (each Ø 2.0 m, 10,000 L capacity).
• Pump/Plant room: 5 m × 5 m × 4 m high blockwork structure, positioned ~2 m from tank block.
• Service access clearance: minimum 1 m inside fence for maintenance walkway.
3. DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS
3.1. EQUIPMENT / PUMP HOUSE CONSTRUCTION
• Dimensions: 5 m (L) × 5 m (W) × 4 m (H).
• Foundation: Reinforced concrete strip footing 300 × 450 mm, C25 concrete on 150 mm compacted hardcore.
• Floor Slab: 150 mm reinforced concrete slab with DPM and trowel finish; slope to floor drain.
• Walls: 150–200 mm blockwork, plastered and painted inside/outside.
• Roof: Corrugated iron sheet on trusses, pitch 10°, 300 mm overhang, gutter & downpipe.
• Doors & Windows: 1 steel door (0.9×2.1 m), 2 vents (300×600 mm) with insect mesh.
• Internal Fittings: 200 mm raised plinth for pumps/control panels, bunded chemical store.
• Electrical: Conduit sleeves, earthing pit, internal lighting points.
• Finish: Waterproof exterior paint, non-slip internal floor coating.
B. TANK PLINTHS / STANDS
• Number of Tanks: 2 × 10,000 L and 1 × 5000 HDPE tank

- References of Similar Works – At least two examples of similar completed projects with client contacts. Should include reference letters, completion certificates, or photos.
- Detailed Quotation / Bill of Quantities (BOQ) – Clear cost breakdown for all works (equipment house, tank plinths, fencing, drainage).
- Work Plan / Construction Schedule – Timeline showing how and when you will complete the project.
- Methodology / Technical Approach – Brief explanation of how you will carry out the works.
- Key Staff and Equipment List – Names of key personnel and major equipment available for the project.
- Declaration of Compliance and Guarantee – Statement confirming compliance with tender specs and offering at least a 6-month workmanship guarantee.
