We are looking for Truck Drivers.
Responsibilities :
- Operate company trucks to transport goods across designated routes within Zambia and cross-border when required.
- Ensure safe loading, securing, transportation, and offloading of cargo.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, fuel records, and trip sheets.
- Adhere to all Zambian road safety regulations and company driving policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding deliveries.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the assigned truck.
- Report incidents, delays, or route challenges promptly.
- Follow company procedures for border clearance and documentation (if on cross border assignments).
- Practice safe driving habits to prevent accidents and ensure cargo safety.
Requirements
- Valid Zambian Truck Driver’s License.
- 3-5 years’ experience in long-distance or logistics transportation.
- Good knowledge of Zambian road networks and traffic laws.
- Experience with cross-border transport is an added advantage.
- Ability to read and understand delivery documents and instructions.
- Physically fit and able to handle long driving hours.
- English proficiency (both written and spoken) as the working language.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Strong safety awareness and reliability.
