We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about cooking, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining high kitchen standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and set standards.
- Operate and maintain a specific kitchen station (grill, fryer, sauté, pastry, salad, etc.).
- Ensure proper portioning and professional presentation of all dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation at all times.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with stock rotation and report low supplies promptly.
- Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Manage time efficiently, especially during busy periods.
- Support the training of junior staff or assistant chefs when required.
- Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in a professional kitchen is an added advantage.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure.
