1. EXPERIENCED TRUCK DRIVERS X 50
Department: Workshop/ Transport
Reporting to: Transport Manager/Transport Supervisor
Station : Lusaka
JOB SUMMARY/ DESIRED QUALIFICATION AND KNOWLEDGE:
Key Purpose:
· Transport and deliver stock to company-owned shops and chain stores.
· Assist with loading and offloading stock.
· Conduct routine vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
· Plan efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel usage.
· Ensure delivery documentation is accurately completed and submitted.
· Maintain professional communication with customers.
· Adhere to road safety and company regulations.
· Monitor fuel consumption and ensure vehicle maintenance.
· Ensure stock security and accurate delivery verification.
· Maintain a clean and organised vehicle.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience driving 30 ton trucks, 25 ton trucks, 27 ton trucks and 10 ton trucks in FMCG Workshop/Transport Department.
• Valid License CE
• Minimum Full Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• FMCG background is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of road safety and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Reliable and professional with a clean driving record.
