- Establish, maintain, and protect survey control networks, benchmarks, and reference markers across the project site using modern surveying instruments.
- Perform precise setting‑out of civil works, including foundations, buildings, plant structures, roads, drainage, and utility corridors.
- Support earthworks operations through cut‑and‑fill surveys, volume calculations, and progress measurements.
- Conduct as‑built surveys and deformation/settlement monitoring for critical and heavy structures to ensure compliance with design tolerances.
- Set out and verify underground services such as pipelines, cable trenches, fire water lines, and other buried utilities to prevent clashes and rework.
- Interpret civil, structural, and layout drawings and work closely with engineers and construction teams to resolve site discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate survey records, field notes, digital data, and drawings for reporting, verification, and project handover.
- Ensure all survey activities comply with applicable Zambian regulations, recognized international standards, and site health and safety requirements.
