Directs and coordinates activities concerned with production of company product(s) in a small plant. Confers with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications and delivery dates of products ordered. Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors. Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines and equipment. Consults with engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.
Primary Qualifications
ü Degree in Civil or mechanical engineering
ü At least 10 years technical experience in concrete batching or plant operations
ü Problem-solving and decision-making skill
ü Specialized training in concrete /asphalt technology is added advantage
ü Must be quality focused and ensure Health and Safety compliance
ü Ability to coordinate efficiently with project teams
ü Inventory and materials management
ü Must have a valid EIZ membership certificate
