Responsible for verifying the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites. Communicates discrepancies and monitors progress of team. Directs or conducts surveys to establish existing services. Records the results, including the shape, contour, location, elevation and dimensions of land or land features. Compiles grid surveys to determine earthwork quantities and records all as-built information of work completed. Plans and conducts ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements. Uses construction and cadastral drawings to set out work. Maintains equipment and trains assistants in performing surveys or drafting maps.
Primary Qualifications
ü Degree in Surveying or related field
ü Proficient in surveying tools
ü Ensure adherence to legal and environmental regulations
ü Problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
ü Setting out, data collection and analysis
ü Site measurements and boundary survey
ü Able to work outdoors in various conditions and terrains
ü Attention to details, excellent communicator and teamwork
ü Valid membership certificate with Surveyors Institute of Zambia
