- Ensure compliance with mine safety regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify workplace hazards.
- Perform regular safety inspections of pumps, pipelines, and work areas.
- Provide safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks to workers.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare reports.
- Implement and monitor emergency response procedures.
- Maintain safety records and reports.
- Promote safe work practices and a strong safety culture among workers.
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
