Hobbiton is seeking a highly skilled, innovative, and results-driven Senior Software Developer to lead the development of scalable and high-performance software solutions.

What You Will Do
Development And Engineering
- Lead the development of software applications, ensuring clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
- Perform code optimization, refactoring, and enforce coding best practices.
Testing And Quality Assurance
- Oversee testing and debugging processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Identify, track, and resolve system defects and performance issues.
Architecture and Technical Leadership
- Contribute to system architecture and design decisions.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure alignment with best practices and standards.
- Implement modern development practices including containerization and microservices.
Collaboration and Team Development
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver projects.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, supporting their technical growth.
- Participate in code reviews and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
DevOps And Infrastructure
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments.
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
- Configure and maintain infrastructure components such as load balancers, reverse proxies, and DNS.
Requirements
- Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate or Equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant software development experience.
- Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Strong experience in ASP.NET Core API development.
- Experience with batch processing systems and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud or DigitalOcean.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL and MySQL) and query optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of load balancing, reverse proxies, and DNS management (e.g., Nginx, Traefik, Caddy).
- Front-end development experience using React and Angular.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
