Syringa Enterprise Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Electrician to join our technical team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems of our diverse fleet of agricultural machinery, trucks, and farm equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure our equipment remains operational, minimizing downtime during critical agricultural cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostics: Perform systematic testing and troubleshooting of electrical components, including starters, alternators, lighting systems, batteries, and engine management systems.
- Repairs: Replace or repair faulty wiring, circuits, sensors, and electronic control units (ECUs).
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine electrical inspections on tractors, combines, and fleet vehicles to prevent mid-season breakdowns.
- Equipment Installation: Install and maintain additional electrical accessories such as GPS guidance systems, auxiliary lights, and monitoring devices.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules for each asset.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety protocols, particularly when working with high-voltage systems and battery chemicals.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Certificate, Diploma, or Trade Test certification in Automotive Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in automotive electrical repair, preferably working with heavy-duty machinery or agricultural equipment.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to diagnose complex electrical faults in challenging field conditions.
- Reliability: Willingness to work flexible hours during peak planting or harvesting seasons.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver's license is essential.
- Must be a valid member of EIZ.
