WE ARE HIRING – LANDSCAPE DESIGNER/ARTCHITEC
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Our company is engaged in residential real estate development, villa projects, courtyard space improvement, and landscape enhancement. Due to business growth, we are looking for a responsible, creative, and experienced Landscape Designer to join our team.
The successful candidate will participate in the design and implementation of residential courtyards, show areas, public green spaces, and related landscape projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design residential courtyards, villa gardens, public areas, and small-scale landscape projects.
Lead and supervise landscape construction works to ensure project quality and proper execution.
Prepare courtyard layouts, space planning, functional zoning, planting concepts, paving designs, and landscape feature details according to project needs.
Conduct site visits, take measurements, analyze existing site conditions, and provide practical design recommendations.
Prepare landscape design proposals, layout drawings, and visual presentations based on client requirements and project positioning.
Assist in selecting landscape materials, plants, outdoor lighting, ornaments, water features, and related supporting facilities.
Guide and supervise the construction team through design briefings, on-site instructions, and follow-up during implementation.
Coordinate with project managers, procurement staff, site teams, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
Provide recommendations to improve the style, appearance, practicality, and long-term maintenance of courtyard landscapes.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Landscape Design, Garden Design, Environmental Art Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in courtyard landscape design, villa garden design, residential greening, or related work is preferred.
Good knowledge of courtyard planning, planting design, paving materials, landscape structures, and outdoor space design.
Ability to independently complete basic design proposals with good aesthetic sense and spatial planning skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, or other relevant design software is an added advantage.
Good communication skills, strong execution ability, and team spirit.
Willingness and ability to travel to project sites for inspections and construction follow-up.
Knowledge of local plants, climate, and landscaping materials in Zambia will be an added advantage.
Responsible, innovative, and able to manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following will have an added advantage:
Experience in residential, villa courtyard, show area, or commercial exterior landscape projects
Familiarity with commonly used plants and landscaping combinations in Zambia
Experience in site construction coordination and supervision
Ability to produce renderings, construction support drawings, or planting plans
Strong client communication and presentation skills

JOB DESCRIPTION: TAX OFFICER

1. Job Purpose
To ensure that the company maintains full compliance with all statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across its operations in construction, real estate development, advertising, and retail. The role is responsible for timely filing of returns, maintaining valid licences, and managing relationships with regulatory bodies and third-party stakeholders.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Tax Compliance
· Prepare, review, and ensure timely submission of all tax returns (VAT, PAYE, NAPSA, NHIMA, Smart Invoice,Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, Turnover Tax where applicable).
· Monitor tax obligations and ensure accurate computation and payment of taxes.
· Liaise with the Zambia Revenue Authority on all tax-related matters, including audits, queries, and reconciliations.
· Maintain proper tax records and schedules to support filings and audits.
· Track changes in tax legislation and assess impact on the business.
· Prepare Financial reports/ Income statements
B. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance
· Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing the company’s sectors.
· Maintain an up-to-date compliance calendar for all statutory obligations.
· Coordinate submission of statutory returns and filings with relevant authorities.
· Monitor adherence to sector-specific regulations in construction, real estate, advertising, and retail.
C. Licensing & Permits Management
· Track, renew, and maintain all business licences, permits, and certifications.
· Maintain a central register of all licences with expiry dates and conditions.
· Engage with relevant regulatory bodies to ensure timely issuance and renewal of licences.
D. Reporting
· Prepare and submit fortnightly compliance reports detailing:
o Status of all licences and permits
o Status of statutory filings and returns
o Any compliance gaps, risks, or upcoming deadlines
· Escalate compliance risks or delays to management with recommended actions.
E. Stakeholder Engagement
· Interface with third-party organizations, including:
o Regulatory authorities (e.g., local councils, sector regulators)
o External auditors and consultants
· Facilitate inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
F. Internal Controls & Advisory
· Support the development and implementation of internal compliance controls and procedures.
· Provide guidance to internal departments on compliance requirements.
· Assist in compliance training and awareness within the organization.
3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· 100% timely submission of all statutory returns
· Zero penalties arising from non-compliance
· Up-to-date licensing register with no expired permits
· Timely and accurate fortnightly reporting
· Effective resolution of regulatory queries and audits
4. Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
· Professional qualification (e.g., NATech, ACCA, ZICA, or equivalent) is an added advantage
· Minimum of 4–8 years’ experience in taxes
· Experience in multi-sector environments (construction, real estate, retail, advertising) is preferred

POSITION: Finance Manager
Job Responsibilities of Finance Manager:
1. Establishment and Improvement of Financial System:
Build and improve a financial management system that complies with Zambian laws and regulations as well as the company's management requirements; formulate financial systems and processes to ensure standardized and efficient financial operations.
2. Accounting and Financial Statement Management:
Be responsible for overall accounting processing; supervise the preparation and review of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, etc.) to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of financial information, and complete audit coordination work on time.
3. Tax Management:
Coordinate overall tax management work; accurately grasp the requirements of Zambia's tax systems such as value-added tax and corporate income tax; ensure tax declaration and tax payment are compliant and timely, avoid tax risks, and conduct reasonable tax planning in line with policies.
4. Well manage the filing of financial archives,
including but not limited to voucher binding, printing, binding and filing of output invoices, copying, binding and filing of input tax invoices, and contract filing.Monthly Tax Return Filing and Tax Payment Receipt Archiving
5. Team Management: Lead the financial team; be responsible for the recruitment, training, performance evaluation and career development guidance of team members, and improve the overall professional capabilities and collaboration efficiency of the team.
6. External Relationship Maintenance and Compliance Affairs: Maintain good relationships with external entities such as local tax authorities, banks and audit institutions to ensure smooth external communication; handle financial-related compliance affairs and emergency issues.
Job Requirements for Finance Manager:
1、Academic Qualification & Professional Certification: Bachelor's degree or above in Financial Management, Accounting or related majors; priority will be given to candidates with professional qualifications such as ZICA (Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants), ACCA, CIMA, or intermediate-level accounting professional title or above.
2、Work Experience: At least 5 years of financial work experience, including over 3 years in financial management positions; priority will be given to candidates with work experience in Africa (especially Zambia) or familiarity with financial operation models in industries such as infrastructure and manufacturing.
3、Familiarity with Laws and Regulations: Proficiency in relevant laws and regulations of Zambia, such as the Value Added Tax Act and Labor Act; familiarity with local financial compliance requirements, social security policies (e.g., pension contribution ratio) and tax declaration procedures.
4、Proficient in using financial software (such as SAP, Oracle, Kingdee, UFIDA) and office software (Excel, Word, PPT); have strong data analysis ability, and be able to extract effective information from financial data to provide data support for the company's strategic decision-making.
5、Possess excellent leadership and team management skills; be able to lead the financial team to complete work efficiently, and have the ability to train and develop team members.
6、Have strong logical thinking, problem-solving ability and stress resistance; be able to handle complex financial issues and adapt to the fast-paced work rhythm of the enterprise.
7、Have good professional ethics, be honest and upright, and have a high sense of responsibility and confidentiality awareness (critical for financial management positions).
