TRACTOR DRIVER – MPONGWE FARM X2
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Operating tractors and equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, bell loggers, etc.
- Observing and listening to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions.
- Attaching farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools.
- Driving tractors to move or haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers.
- Adjusting, repairing, and servicing farm machinery and notifying supervisors when machinery malfunctions.
- Operating towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops.
The Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Valid Driver’s License
- 3 years of relevant work experience
The Required attributes for the role include:

PAINTER – MPONGWE FARM X1
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Doing all painting works
- Carrying out painting assessment works
- Carrying out skimming works.
- Making sure that the mixing, matching, and application of paint are properly done.
- Preparing surfaces before painting works are commenced.
- Regularly assessing activities conducted to identify any significant hazards.
- Making sure that tools are used properly and following safety guidelines.
- Ensuring that scaffolds and ladders are positioned properly to prevent falls (accidents)
- Wearing and using appropriate protective clothing and safety equipment.
- Adhering to all company health and safety policies.
- Any other assigned duties.
The Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Relevant Experience Required

BRICKLAYER – MPONGWE FARM X2
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Analyzing and interpreting building plans.
- Interpreting work orders and determining the materials required.
- Measuring distance from reference points.
- Calculating angles and determining the vertical and horizontal alignment of courses.
- Laying bricks using mortar as a binder and a trowel to level.
- Fastening bricks with wire clamps or cement.
- Working safely on scaffolds and swing stages at various heights.
- Using equipment and tools effectively to perform basic construction tasks.
The Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Certificate/ Diploma Bricking laying or equivalent
- 3 years of relevant work experience

PIVOT FITTER – MPONGWE FARM X2
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Observing equipment and machinery to verify efficient and safe operation.
- Examining and testing Centre Pivots and their components, and parts for defects, and to ensure proper functioning.
- Adjusting, connecting, or disconnecting wiring, piping, tubing, and other parts, using hand tools or power tools.
- Installing or replacing parts using hand tools or power tools.
- Cleaning or lubricating machinery, equipment, instruments, tools, work areas, and other objects, using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment.
- Applying protective materials to the parts of the Pivots to prevent defects and corrosion.
- Disassemble broken or defective parts to facilitate repair; reassemble parts when repairs are complete.
- Assisting more skilled workers involved in the adjustment, maintenance, part replacement, and repair of Centre Pivots.
The Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 9/ Grade 12 Certificate
- 3 years of relevant work experience
The Required attributes for the role include:
- Must be able to communicate in an efficient and clear manner
- Able to resolve issues within the farm
- Basic mechanical knowledge
