Alliance for Children Everywhere Zambia (ACEZ) invites applications from qualified, self-driven, and innovative individuals for the position of Teacher of English Language at Jana Christian School in Kanyama, Lusaka.
For over 22 years, ACEZ has served vulnerable children and families through education, family strengthening, and community development programs. Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging English Language lessons aligned with approved schemes of work.
- Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and behaviour through continuous assessment and accurate record keeping.
- Provide tailored academic support and interventions for struggling learners.
- Promote Christian values, social-emotional learning, and positive discipline.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environment in line with ACEZ safeguarding policies.
- Identify, document, and report child protection concerns promptly.
- Participate in school leadership activities, staff development, and professional training.
- Ensure timely syllabus coverage, effective classroom management, and administration of tests and examinations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education (English Language – Single or Double Major).
- Valid Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) Practising Certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a faith-based and multicultural environment.
- A committed Christian with high integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
