Job Purpose
Successful candidates for position of Lecturer will be expected to Plan and deliver high quality training as well as Lecture both full-time and Distance Learning Students, conduct research, consultancy and provide service to the wider community.
1.0 LECTURER IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
Reporting to: Coordinator Engineering Studies
Key Responsibilities
· To prepare schemes of work, lesson plan, and teach students on the set curriculum.
· To prepare and conduct examinations.
· To mark examination answer scripts.
· To help with extracurricular activities when required.
· To maintain the professional teaching files and submit for inspection.
· To ensure that all students in the class are registered with institution.
· To counsel students on social behavior.
· To invigilate examinations when required.
· Maintain student discipline at all times when in contact with them.
· Any other duty assigned to you by your superior.
· To monitor student attendance, progress, and academic performance.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
· Grade 12 Certificate with 5 credits or better including Mathematics and English.
· Minimum of an earned Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or its Equivalent from an accredited and reputable University.
· Must be a registered member of Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)
· Computer literate and must be conversant in Microsoft Office package.
· At least three (3) years of work experience at University or College level.
· Must have a Teaching Methodology

2.0 HUMAN RESOURCE AND ADMINISTRATION
DRIVER (01)
Reporting to: Human Resource and Administration officer
Job Purpose
Successful candidates for position of a driver will be responsible for transporting members of staff, students and materials within the organization, ensuring efficient and safe operations of the institution pool vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
· Safely transport members of staff, Student and materials to various locations.
· Conduct routine vehicles inspections and ensure proper maintenance procedures are followed.
· Maintain accurate logs and records of vehicles usage and mileage.
· Assisting with loading and offloading of materials as needed.
· Upholding institution safety policies and procedures at all times.
· To work in day shift and night shift
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
· A certificate in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering.
· Grade 12 Certificate with 5 credits or better including Mathematics and English.
· 3 years’ work experience in driving a variety of vehicles.
· A valid driver’s license (Class CE) with clean record.
· GRZ Competency Certificate.
· Honest and reliable with high moral strength.
· Innovative and proactive.
· A high degree of attention to detail.
· A high degree of integrity.
· Tact and diplomacy.
· Ability to work with minimum supervision.
· Ability to driver during the night time

3.0 Registry Intern (01)
Reporting to: Registry Officer
Job Purpose
To provide administrative support in the management of physical and electronic records by ensuring accurate filing, retrieval, tracking, and safekeeping of documents.
Key Responsibilities
· Receive, sort, register, and file incoming and outgoing correspondence.
· Maintain physical and electronic filing systems
· Label, index, and classify files according to the institutional filing system.
· Assist in opening new files and closing inactive files.
· Ensure proper storage and preservation of confidential records.
· Scan and digitize documents where required.
· Maintain confidentiality of all information handled.
· Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
· Grade 12 Certificate with 5 credits or better including Mathematics and English.
· Diploma or Degree in Record Management, Library and Information Science, Public Administration, Business Administration, or any related field.
· Recent graduate seeking internship placement.
· Basic knowledge of records and document management principles.
· Honest and reliable with high moral strength.
· Innovative and proactive.
Skills and Competencies
