- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, printers, scanners, and other ICT equipment.
- Provide first and second-level technical support to staff and promptly resolve hardware and software issues.
- Monitor and maintain the Company's servers, network infrastructure, internet connectivity and communication systems.
- Administer user accounts, passwords, email systems and access rights in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure the security of the Company's ICT infrastructure through implementation of cybersecurity measures, antivirus solutions, firewalls, and security updates.
- Perform regular system monitoring, maintenance and software updates to ensure optimal system performance.
- Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard company data.
- Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain and update ICT inventory, licenses, warranties and asset registers.
- Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and support of insurance management systems and other business applications.
- Support digital transformation initiatives and automation of business processes.
- Ensure compliance with ICT governance, data protection regulations, and internal information security policies.
- Coordinate with external ICT vendors and service providers for maintenance and support services.
- Prepare ICT reports, system documentation, user manuals, and technical procedures.
- Train and support staff on the effective use of ICT systems and applications.
- Participate in ICT projects including system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve connectivity issues.
- Perform any other ICT-related duties assigned by Management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12 School Certificate with five (5) credits or better, including English and Mathematics.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related programme from a recognized institution.
- Valid ICT Association of Zambia (ICTAZ) Practising License.
- Minimum of 2–3 year’s relevant work experience in Information Technology support, systems administration or network administration.
