NCUK Edubridge Education Centre is an officially recognized NCUK Study Centre based in Lusaka, Zambia. As the exclusive NCUK partner in Zambia, we authorized to deliver the International Foundation Year program locally, bringing world class university preparation directly to Zambian Students.
NCUK Edubridge Education Centre invites applications from suitable qualified and experienced candidates for the following teaching positions in Lusaka:
1. Art & Design Teacher – Part Time
The successful candidate will be responsible to inspire and support students pursuing internationally recognised qualifications. The role involves fostering creativity, critical thinking, technical skills and artistic development while preparing students for higher education.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Art & Design lessons in line with the NCUK curriculum.
- Guide students in developing portfolios and creative projects.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Plan lessons and maintain accurate academic records.
- Support students in achieving their academic and creative potential.
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Art & Design, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (Master's degree is an added advantage).
- Valid Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) Practising Certificate.
- Minimum of three (3) years' teaching experience in a recognised institution.
- Experience teaching post-secondary, international, or NCUK programmes will be an added advantage.
2. English Teacher – Full Time
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English instruction that develops students' academic reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills for university success.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English in accordance with the NCUK curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans and learning materials.
- Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Support students in developing academic writing and communication skills.
- Maintain accurate student records and participate in quality assurance activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in English, English Language, Linguistics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree is an added advantage).
- Valid Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) Practising Certificate.
- Minimum of three (3) years' teaching experience in a recognised institution.
- Experience teaching academic English, Cambridge, or NCUK programmes will be an added advantage.
3. Computer Studies Teacher – Part Time
This successful candidate will equip students with the digital, technical, analytical and problem-solving skills required for university studies and future careers in technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Computer Studies modules in accordance with the NCUK curriculum.
- Teach computer systems, programming, databases, networking, and information technology.
- Prepare lesson plans, practical activities, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide academic support.
- Promote the effective use of technology in teaching and learning.
- Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to continuous curriculum improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is an added advantage).
- Valid Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) Practising Certificate.
- Minimum of three (3) years' teaching experience in a recognised institution.
- Experience teaching international curricula will be an added advantage.
4. Sociology Teacher – Part Time
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Sociology lessons, supporting students' academic development, and contributing to a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Sociology lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
- Develop engaging teaching and learning materials.
- Assess students' understanding through tests, assignments, examinations, and other assessments.
- Monitor and report on students' academic progress.
- Provide appropriate academic support and guidance to students.
- Encourage critical thinking, research, discussion, and independent learning.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Social Sciences, Education, or a related field (Master's degree is an added advantage).
- Valid Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) Practising Certificate.
- Minimum of three (3) years' teaching experience in a recognised institution.
- Experience teaching international curricula will be an added advantage.
