ASSISTANT PROCUREMENT OFFICER(LADY)

We are looking for a vibrant, dedicated, and detail-oriented Assistant Procurement Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in sourcing and purchasing goods, materials, and services.

Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers.

Prepare purchase orders and procurement documentation.

Assist in negotiating prices and delivery terms with suppliers.

Maintain accurate procurement and supplier records.

Monitor orders and ensure timely delivery of purchased items.

Liaise with suppliers, stores, finance, and other departments.

Assist in evaluating and maintaining supplier relationships.

Ensure procurement activities follow company policies and procedures.

Perform any other procurement-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

Must be a lady

Diploma in Purchasing and Supply, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Previous experience in procurement or purchasing will be an added advantage.

Good negotiation and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Honest, organised, proactive, and willing to learn.

Candidates with technical knowledge or an understanding of engineering/construction materials will be an added advantage.
