A leading technology services group based in Lusaka seeks the services of an experienced and strategic Finance Manager (FM) or a Senior Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Consultant to join the Team.
POSITION ONE (1) FINANCE MANAGER
Reporting to the CEO, the FM will provide strategic financial leadership across multiple business entities, ensuring sound financial management, regulatory compliance, robust governance, and sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Finance function across the Group, ensuring efficient financial operations.
- Lead, mentor and manage the accounting and finance teams to deliver high-performance outcomes.
- Develop, implement and monitor financial strategies, annual budgets, forecasts and business plans aligned to the Group's strategic objectives.
- Manage the Group's financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts, Board reports and statutory financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the Companies Act, tax legislation and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Establish, review and strengthen internal controls, financial policies and governance frameworks to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Oversee accurate accounting records and ensure timely availability of financial information to support decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital and treasury functions to support business requirements.
- Monitor payroll, revenue, expenditure and financial transactions to ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance with company policies.
- Drive cost optimisation, expenditure control and revenue assurance initiatives across all business units.
- Work closely with Heads of Departments to provide financial insights, performance analysis and business support.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, regulators, tax authorities, financial institutions and other external stakeholders.
- Coordinate statutory audits and ensure timely submission of regulatory and financial reports.
- Support the Board and Executive Management by preparing Board papers, quarterly Board packs and strategic financial reports.
- Perform Company Secretarial responsibilities relating to Board meetings, governance documentation and statutory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or CPA.
- Member of ZICA.
- Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience, including at least three (3) years in a senior management position.
- Demonstrated expertise in ERP systems, financial management, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
POSITION TWO (2) SENIOR ERP CONSULTANT
The Senior ERP Consultant shall support the implementation, configuration, optimisation and ongoing support of ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure Sage 300 ERP modules based on client requirements.
- Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
- Conduct system setup, testing, data migration and go-live support.
- Provide functional and technical support to end users.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate timely resolutions.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides and SOPs.
- Conduct end-user training and knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Customise reports, forms and workflows where required.
- Collaborate with developers on system customisations and third-party integrations.
- Support system upgrades, patches and version migrations.
- Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements.
- Ensure data integrity, security and compliance.
- Support ERP implementation projects, including documentation, progress tracking and implementation milestones.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting with IT, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.
- Sage 300 / Sage 200 experience or certification will be an advantage.
