Job Title: Projects and Business Development Manager
The Projects and Business Development Manager drives growth and execution of enterprise solutions in the Enterprise Business Unit. Under the supervision of the Senior Manager Customer Enablement, below are the Key Job Responsibilities;
- Facilitate identification, assessment, and mitigation of data privacy risks and vulnerabilities;
- Plan, execute, and manage multiple customer & Partner projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget;
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders;
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation;
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies;
- Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior management;
- Coordinate Purchase Requisition creation with CPG Project Manager as per Procurement requirement, and coordinate activities until Purchase Order issue to relevant Suppliers;
- Manage and track equipment stock levels and plan for new stock as per requirement/budget;
- Manage the tracking of CAPEX expenditure and Cost of sales for customer projects;
- Provide required reports on a timely basis and facilitate for billing/Invoicing of completed projects;
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, IT, technical, Procurement and Implementation vendors, to ensure successful project execution;
- Lead and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support as needed;
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to achieve team and organizational goals; Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Any other responsibilities or tasks as maybe assigned by management.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Economics, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
- MBA would be advantageous.
- Financial Management and Accounting background would be advantageous.
- Grade 12 Certificate. (5 O' Level credits, including compulsorily English Language and Mathematics);
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience of legal and regulatory/auditing/risk management/Compliance in a medium to large organization;
- Experience in working across diverse cultures and geographies (advantageous);
- Knowledge and understanding of risk and control methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams, partners and contractors.
- Demonstrated experience working in the telecommunications industry.
